the "kit" looks like a 1$ fuse and .50cents of wire lol.
we could save some money and just diy.

You need a fuse terminal blade that fits the ford fuse box, only way you're likely to get that is to go cut one out of a salvage yard. Or you can just cobble something together that either catches fire or lets out on you in the middle of no where.

Ford kit is ~$30 which in the long list of expensive shit that will break on your truck over time is pennies in the lake.

i get that its pennies, but the super special connection you are talking about is literally sitting in a box of electrical crap i have.... all the stuff in the kit can be made at home cheaper and easier than ordering it.

thinking they put magical dust in it is why they are able to get away with charging 30$ a pop lol.

My Ford dealer wanted $21 and some change, about the same as Tasca. The part that gripes me about this is that Ford won't cover the cost of the repair.

Tried that last weekend, unfortunately my collection of electrical crap doesn't include the spade terminal Ford uses, it's about 2x longer and has a slot to engage a plastic retainer clip in the PDB when compared to a standard spade terminal. And all the blank fuse locations don't have that terminal I could rob one from, oh well time to order the kit. Surely those heatshrink tubes have pixie dust in 'em.

Well on Monday I put my R1 front rotors and new pads on the old raptor . Also I put my red full race brake lines on too. Very laborious job with stands and a jack. Need a cordless impact in the future. Now tomorrow I will do the fuse 27 relocate. And yesterday I ordered a Saudi transmission cooler from RPG. Call them. Get one. And I'm guessing one day next week rear brakes will get done with new lines and a full amsoil brake fluid change. Oh and a serpentine belt and all the pulleys will be done maybe tomorrow, have to see if the belt(gates) is in the mailbox . And why in the hell did I wait until this summer to do all this, this is south Florida aka satans hot *******.
