I pulled mine out and haven't missed them one bit. I think it helped with airflow as well......

I'm thinking the same. I'm pretty sure I had airflow problems offroading in AZ this summer. After 30-45 minutes of running fairly hard it was heating up really fast. I want to do a Baja run this coming year and I know I will have issues. I'm probably going to put some squadrons in the lower corners of the bumper, figuring that out now.

That is FRF approved. Think you are more happy about it too. Curious about the clamps on the FE mount, is that some type of padding you used or is that something designed for its purpose?

The rubber inserts came with the Powertank mount. The thick one I used on the FE mount and a thinner one if needed to mount the Powertank on smaller diameter bars..

The mounts are super tight but I'm thinking I might go back and put the thinner one on anyway to absorb vibration.

The Drake Off-Road clamps that I used for the Drake FE mount were too big for the Alpha 1 so I used the rubber inserts and its super tight.

I don't like the bolts sticking out so much. I think I might dremel them down a bit.

Continued my deIconized project with removal of front shocks. I have to say that Icon did good job with how quiet shocks are. Having stock rear and front on, truck makes so much more noise.
