At that point I didn't care, the shocks were all corroded and looked terrible anyway. It really didn't chew them up that bad.

Nice. Been at that f@#$ it point on many projects in the past. Mine are still pretty nice so I'm hopefull with the press I can get them to move without too much drama.

Has anyone installed the SDHQ doubler plates and alignment cams? My alignment seems to go out far too quickly so I was thinking about adding those. I mean for 220ish bucks plus 50 to get it aligned again I should be able to not worry about it every few thousand miles.

I haven't had any issues from Sears. The local offroad shop has a deal were you can get alignment done [at a reduced rate] after any suspension mods so I'm thinking of getting mid perch done, add those pieces in and an alignment for about 200 bucks.

@srs and myself installed the SVC Smurf Bumper. If anyone has purchased that bumper and is planning on doing the install, we can give you a few pointers if you just PM me.

@RDFTS see my alignment cams now? :win:
And no, the lens flare was not added by a filter, just enhanced by one.

I have them. You'll have to go to the metric as the normal ones wont be long enough when adding the doubler plates. Welding is required so good on you if you have that skill set.
And dang...$50 for an alignment?? @srs, we need to start going to Sears.

Sears will also do a 170ish deal with a lifetime alignment. You can get it aligned as much as needed after the fact as long as you are the owner. No charge after that. I didn't have the foresight to actually do this so I have about 150 into individual alignments anyways.

I may skip the doubler plates for now and just get the alignment cams... is there any mods that need to be done for those?

But the local offroad shop is right next to a mom and pop alignment shop and they share business, so it benefits them by offering a discount.
