Brand new truck so I put on my FRF decal, first things first,

and installed my Handpresso 12v 16 bar espresso maker and made a Lavazza Gran Crema cause a good shot makes any rest stop better.

Okay, looks like I'm going to have to mount my Keurig in my truck!

I finally got around to installing the LED lighting in my center console. I tapped off the 12V power outlet in the rear of the console. I put a mercury switching in the lid so the LEDs come on when I open the lid and the go off when I close it. I also put a small strip on the lid to shine down onto the top tray. I'm very happy.

I started with the lid. I put small pieces of masking tape on each LED and then sprayed the strip black so it wouldn't stand out when off. I put all the wiring and the mercury switch under the interior plastic trim inside the lid. I also used some braided wire loom to keep it clean and professional.

I bought the mercury switch at Fry's electronics for like $3. It's small glass vial with a drop of mercury inside. I wanted the small glass vial version so it would fit inside the lid.
