What do you notice that differs the two?
Why did you switch to begin with?

@Yukon Joe :baby: :baby:
Run Raptor Run | Great Lakes Raptor Excursions (GLRE)

@Yukon Joe I switched to the Moroso because (1) the mounting bracket and mounting location made it easier for a fat old guy to reach, no need for a step stool. (2) The Moroso is a little bigger and I hoped to go a full oil change interval without having to empty but the efficiency of the Moroso blew that idea to hell. (3) While contemplating the change a Moroso came up for sale on FRF, the price was right so I bought it.
I sold the JLT to a member on FRF so in the end it cost very little to switch and I love it when a plan comes together.:everything:

FYI: The Moroso has collected more oil in 6300 miles than the JLT collected in 12000 miles. The design of the Moroso is more efficient than the JLT, that or my engine is about to take a crap, time will tell.

Yesterday I checked the Moroso oil separator on my Raptor and found the can completely full at 3k miles, guess I need to check it sooner. The Moroso is catching over twice as much oil as the JLT that I had previously

Today I installed an Airaid SynthaMax #861-397 dry drop-in air filter and loaded a Livernois 91 octane performance tune. Been on the stock tune for the past 4 months due to taking my truck to the local ford dealership. Took the Raptor for a short drive to set the tune and put a smile on my face.

Glad to see your enjoying the filter, Keep up the good work Pat!

Also Small world I am the member that grabbed your JLT separator. Not disappointed with it so far but may start rethinking that lol

Calendar lots of good pics this month but it will make it on a square.

How many old road graders do you have.

This looks like a winner to me. Maybe a plow up for your wall.

@ThatGuy88 That is what this site is all about, member helping member. As you can see in the pic the Airaid filter I got from you cleaned up real nice. Thought I would run it for a little while to see how I like it. Like I said, I'm air filter poor, I normally run a modified Airaid CAI with either a SynthaFlow (oiled) or SynthaMax (dry) filter and a pre-filter. When I bought the Airaid from you I was running with the stock paper filter that came from Dearborn.

Ya @pat247 this site has been awesome for that, Cant thank the members enough. I was digging the filter, it was great for keeping the stock intake. i like airraids stuff I was considering them before I got the S&B system. The FoMoco special isnt worth the paper its printed on.
