What did u do to your raptor today?

Got the Rigid DOT driving lights in. Really liking these lights. They put a decent amount of light out in front of the truck. The beam is narrow with a sharp cutoff and lights the sides a good 15-20 degrees wider than the low beams. I aimed them so the top cutoff was near the center of the low beams. Got one or two flashes in a lot of driving so may just lower them a tad.

Original setup was dually amber floods outside, dually spots inside. I moved the spots to the lower center grill (easy little mod) and put the DOTs in their place. Perfect location.

They also make a nice daytime running light along with the parking lights on overcast/rainy/snowy days along with the ambers.

Flushed the rockers and gorilla taped. Also picked up my summer rims from the powder coater.

has anyone tried tapping them with a hammer first? that takes them out easy on my tractor that have oil hubs. a few raps with a hammer works every time.

Probably won't help as the nut is not mounted in a way that would allow a decent transfer of force due to it being a nut clip.

Good thing is they ARE a nut clip. Soak them down with some penetrating oil and it will get everywhere it needs to be. It's better than trying to get oil to soak uphill into a standard nut.

Happy Saturday All: Too busy auguring ahead today to get away for a photo shoot but thought I would send a few pics of my "home" up here. Snowin like a big dog today and -13 cel. Will get some road shots when time permits. That's my house behind the Raptor. My lab is middle door and a "guest" room on the left. My directional drillers own the "Fargos" to the left of my house and the rest of our people, medics, safety crew, drilling foremen et al are "down the street". Note the white thirty foot high F350 my toolpush drives... ha ha and YES he is 5 foot 3 inches tall!. Says nothing to me regarding the Raptor but walks by and drools occasionally.....TOO funny.

What do you do? Where is that? I did Wireline (perforating) and LWD, got laid off last March and transitioned to telecommunications.
