made my appt today over at high country performance 4x4 today to have them pull the shocks off the truck, cut the bad perch off and throw the front end in the sky.
oh, and told the boss man to suck it because im taking tuesday off to work on my truck. he shook his head and asked why im putting so much money into "that thing"... GMC owners... pffff

How do you like the bestop?

It's ok. You get what you pay for. I have a ton of mods I'm planning so needed something to hold me over. I chose the model that came fully assembled. Took 5 minutes to install by myself. Looks good. I took it through the car wash and help up good. Some water came in through the tailgate, as the seal is not very tight on that end, but the rest held up well. It flaps a little bit while on the road, but is held securely. I think it will serve its purpose. For $300 I can't complain.

I'd like a hard top painted to match, but that will have to wait until after the CAI, the exhaust, the tune....
