I am thinking of a custom mount for my rear fennix cannons for the amber/white lights. I am thinking of making a custom plate that the lights mount to from behind and then surface mount the plate. The holes would need to be bigger for the lights to fully recess but it would be easier to service and look cleaner. I need to go see if I can find a metal shop that can crank me out two of them from aluminum this week. Might have to just paint them black for now and then have another set made and have it powder coated.

AWESOME! How much did you drop the headliner?

Not much at all... Just popped of the rear retention pins and then undid the rear passenger drivers side trim where the seatbelt is and pulled it down so I could see he roof strakes. Make sure it would be after the sunroof (Watched the sunroof open to be 100% sure) Could have gone rather up but this was far enough up for a good ground plane and easy to grab the cable. Did not need any fish wire or sticks.

Put a proper battery in it after a night of single digit temps and being greeted by a click-click this morning. The POS autocraft gold I installed in a pinch less than 2 years ago didn't hold up.

I had to drive about 50 miles one way to find this Sears Platinum on the shelf which has been discontinued as Sears severed their relationships with Odyssey and is moving to an inferior product made by Northstar same as their Gold line. The counter guy was very informative on the back story. If you want one of these going forward then you need to go to Batteries Plus for the Odyssey brand and expect to pay 30 percent more. However there is really nothing out there with the same specs.

Finished the bumper ready for line-x:

Next up shorten the fair leed mount on the winch mount so that does not stick out so far!

How are you doing the skid plate? Did you run bars down and mounting plate to the steering rack bolts, or something different?

For now I'm using the stock skid, I will be removing it at some point and using the plate from the old bumper that goes to the steering rack bolts, and running bars either to the underside of the winch mount plate or to the front bar in the center of the bumper.

Turns out that plate is pretty mangled, so i'll either stick it in the forge and hit with with a hammer a bit or use it as a template to plasma cut a new one.

Oh and the top tube was a little bent but with the help of @NE Ford we got it straightened out with a tree saver and a steel post sticking out the ground.
