What did u do to your raptor today?

Noticed my air compressor and tank getting some surface rust, so I wanted to get it out of the elements. My truck will be getting wrapped in Military Green, so I decided to incorporate an ammo can. Cut out a hole and mounted an AC air return grille. Doesn't look the best, but it's an ammo can, so rugged is fine.

I went round and round for a couple weeks on what lights to buy. Honestly I wanted to stay with rigid. They just didn't really have what I wanted. That is a baja V1 style bumper and the opening is taller then just a single bar and I wanted to fill the hole. I wanted a 30"RDS bar on top and a 30' sr2 underneath it but the opening is narrower at the bottom so that wouldn't work. It's like 28" wide at the bottom so I thought a 20" would look off too.

I wound up going with BAja Designs because their bars are alittle shorter so I could fit 2 of the same looking bars in the opening. I found the 22" arc onx6 in the scratch and dent thread. Wish it was 26" but 22" is better then 20" I guess. The top one is a 30" racer edition, BDs top of the line. I bought that because I wanted to make sure it would shine farther then the 20" rigid hyper spot I had on my factory bumper. That light was awesome! Does it? Not sure yet, I hooked it up to the battery quick and to see it. The BD definitely lights up more but I think the hyper spot my have gone farther. My dad has a hyper spot so once I get it all installed I'll compare em.

End result I'm pretty happy with how it looks. Can't wait to see it all on the truck! Gotta bet the bumper coated first.

You will be very happy that you went with BD. Seems most lights will get moisture but U-Service can't be beat along with everything else that makes BD awesome.

Thanks to @Jimbo and the guys at Rogue I have installed my new bumper today. Just waiting on the new lights to show up to finish it off.

Did that require any cutting? Looks great!

I got new wheels and tires went from 35x20 to 37x17 really like how feels the wheel wells up and with new tires much smoother ride my old tire and wheels need to go to a new home
