Retrax Pro MX as well. Had one on my Gen 2 and it served me well. I like how you can lock it in any position. Definitely not 100% water tight... I'd rate it about 90% water tight.
Damn! Really? I was going to order one. I keep a lot of tools and materials in my bed and was hoping to use the Retrax Pro MX. I assumed it was 98-99% water tight for its price point. I had a tri fold canvas bed cover on my previous Lariat and had no issues and that thing was like $400.

Ben- do you happen to have a link to the one you bought? I'm debating about switching from Bakflip to Lomax when my truck comes for the ease of removal.
I looked at the website and there's 3 options, I'm pretty sure mine is the first option - just the normal one. I got the option that looks similar to my Line-X sprayed bed.

I got it at a Line-X shop. Honestly walked in thinking I wanted a bakflip but the shop owner said he thinks the Lomax is better made now (and he carried both).

Here's a pic:

Retrax pro XR or Ford branded version (embark Ls) *if I can use fordpass points to reduce cost
or
Diamond back 270

pros and cons to Each. As they are two, totally different covers in terms of function
ive had several diamondback over the years, and they have held up great. But pain to get off.

I'm going Diamondback HD this time, it's not often I actually need the full bed. Priority was more for secure/waterproof storage. I know their website says it's like 5 minutes to remove but realistically how long did it take you?
