One of my tie rod boots has a tear in it, so I ordered an aftermarket replacement but the bellows is smaller in diameter and the end is larger in diameter than the OEM part. So I ordered an OEM part from Tasca and same thing? Do I have some unicorn steering rack or something? I’ve now had it apart 2 times and I’ve about had enough!

I had the same issue! Replace my tie rod with an aftermarket and the boots they sent me were way too big. So I ordered the OEM and trimmed them to fit. Insanity.

That really sucks. I run into that with my Volvo on occasion. They need your VIN to be able to hopefully tell which revision your car has and need the parts for. 3/4 of the time they fit. It's REALLY annoying.
