What’s the fascination with 37” tires all about?

Wasn’t being rude or a ****. When I said 99% it was to imply as in most. Toyo is probably one of the few exceptions. Damn near every other manufacturers measure the same 34.5”. Your the one who called me out with the one exception.

fair enough, misunderstanding, sorry

everyone also states that BFG KO2s run small and come in at 36.5.

Well, on an 8.5" wide rim, mine come in at 37 on the nose when aired up and off the truck.

Know how i know? Trying to design an undercover bed cage that will hold a pair of spares with the tonneau on. if they were both a 1/2" shorter, it would make things much easier for me.

I'm sure i could make them even taller by over inflating.

Get a portable compressor/air storage and air them down just enough to fit.

Whoa! That actually looks pretty slick. Did you put a seal around the tire and the bed?

Not mine. I just saw it a while ago and thought it looked pretty cool.

I'd carry a 35 and a 37 before I cut a hole in the bed like that. Or just back half the damn thing.

I'm going to have to do them on an offset and angled. I could also hog out the tailgate and ditch the step if I wanted to stick to both being centered. I'm literally like 3/4" shy of it fitting nicely.

I'm trying to retain as much use of the bed when not having to carry all my gear. I do NOT plan on carrying all 450 lbs of gear every day. It is gonna get tight with a bypass rack.

And before anyone says just carry it in the stock location under the bed, have you ever changed a tire after getting a rear flat in soft samd or mid?

I can't ever get anyone to do that. I guess nobody thinks it's as cool as I do.

I have owned many factory hot rods over the years. they always do just fine in stock form. most of the fail / roll over vids you see on you tube involve modified vehicles with huge tires and lift kits.
