No, front and rear. Front are much more important and larger area than rear

Okay I am a n00b on this as I don't have 37" but where are the pinch welds on the fronts? There is the liner and the fenders are glass.

@RDFTS The pinch welds are right near the firewall once you take the liners off and they run far up (about half way through the whole fender well). The pinch welds near the fire wall are exactly where most people rub. It really is a no brainer for anyone running 37's...and for that matter, I would think added clearance is good for 35's too.

Here's a pic I randomly found on here. Not my truck and not the cleanest job of it, but gives you the general idea. I had mine done by SVC. The day I got my 37's on, I contacted Jeff and said I was rubbing. He quickly said I need their "37 mod"...basically was hammering the pinch welds. They did a very clean job of it and we're very reasonable on the price.

Thanks! I know exactly where you are talking about now. See told ya I was a noob on this. Haven't made the leap to 37"s as I would want to then change out the gears and fenders, adding to the overall cost. So far now, still fine with the basic boring 35"s.....

No problem man! That's what this forum is for right? Exchanging knowledge...there is a shit ton of stuff I still need to learn!

Don't blame you for wanting to do the gears and fenders with 37's...doing it right! I was inpatient and thought I'd try out 37" BFG KO2's because they are on the small side and are very light. I have to say I've been very happy with the power that I maintained (I do have the SVC tune however). I do eventually want to go to Boatec fenders but trimming the pinch welds make me able to get away with this for now and I figure if I tear the stock fenders up...oh well, just get glass fenders like I was planning on anyway! Plus, pinch welds need to be hammered with or without glass fenders, so might as well do it now!

The guys at SVC did the pinch welds for me and could trim your fender for you too. I see that your in Seal Beach...I would say it's definitely worth a trip out to Laguna Niguel to SVC. They did a SUPER CLEAN job of it and make it look like stock. They were very very reasonable on the price too. Had it done in like an hour. It was a no brainer for me to have them do it rather than bang around down there myself and get frustrated.

Even on a street queen, it's absolutely worth doing. Just driving on the street, the rubbing you annoy you. I think it's a must, if you off-road much or not.
HAHA! SVC is where I got the tires from :D I had them trim the frame chunks off so the 37" spare fits up in there.... love it! Fits perfect!

I decided to just get to the pinch welds and do the trim job myself later.... just cause its one of the few things I CAN do with my limited resources out here in CA... plus if anyone is gonna beat on my boo with a BFH, its gonna be me. I may even just wait till I go home to Colorado for christmas... then Ill have a nice, warm, fully equipped garage to work in :D

@Drunktank Haha, yeah, I guess I can see where you want to be the guy banging on the truck. I was more of the thinking...if anyone is going to beat on the truck, I want it to be a pro who has done it thousands of times. I was amazed how quickly and cleanly they did it. It really did make a world on difference in the rubbing. Once you do it, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner!

Need to do the cut and hammer thing myself, and I'm just on stock 315 with Methods. No apparent rubbing with hard offroading, but I may have missed it. Plus, I hope to go to 37" next!

Look at your alignment; Caster and Camber alignment will affect the position of the tire
I moved the rear adjuster all the way out to move the tire forward and give me more caster.
Note: adjusting caster or camber will change your toe setting.

@PropDr I was going to mention the same thing. Get an alignment from somebody who actually understands alignment and thrust angle and everything. Not just somebody who gets the chart to read green. If they know what they are doing they should be able to almost eliminate all rubbing.

The Rogue Heim UCA (not sure on the non-Heim one) will put your caster in the 6.0-7.0 range by design according to Ryan.
