Fam and I took it offroad and on a few short trips. Long story short, the whole family agreed that the Raptor is the right truck for us. So, bought a very nicely modded 2019 with all options including Recaro’s (the idea of not installing all this crap myself again brings tears of joy to my eyes). I can’t believe how happy I am with this truck. And, we already took out Black Series trailer on a 2K mile trip to camp on the beach and it tows amazing. So happy I’m back in a Rap.

Of course congrats on coming back to the fold!

As a side note, is that Black a 19? Really, really like those but they run so heavy for their size. Then again, they would not be what they are without it.

Thoughts on jumping from a heavily modified Gen 1 into a Gen 2? I’m currently in the same boat, and debating on picking up a new to me Gen 2 once the prices come down a bit.

It’s an ‘18 Black Series. It’s heavy but can’t tell it’s there when towing and we’ve already taken it on two trips where people asked me how the hell I got an RV back there. We sure love it. My Gen2 tows better than my Gen1 did as well.
