And we are all looking forward to TCM tuning. @Cobb.... are you guys planning on releasing the TCM tunes with the stage 2 and 3 kits?

Currently Cobb is only offering ECM tuning and no TCM tuning.

@COBB Tuning

Loving my kit so far!

Question: If I leave the AP plugged in, every time I start the truck, the AP goes to the gears turning screen, and I have to exit out of that and then select gauges to bring up the gauge screen. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying, would love to have it boot straight into the gauges. Is that a setting? Do I need to update my AP software (possible I have an early version?). Thanks!

Additional OTS maps will be available prior to TCM tuning being available.

Glad you're liking the goods! It sounds like the AP is losing connection. This will show the gears turning screen when it attempts to reconnect. This can happen if you have the auto start/stop feature enabled (and the truck is off long enough). Auto start/stop can be disabled with the Accessport. If you turn the Accessport off (with the power button on top) instead of allowing it to lose connection it will return to the screen it was on previously when you turn it back on. You can also use the Auto On/Off feature. More details on that can be found HERE.

Can you guys confirm that altitude won't be an issue for this tune? I am base at 5k feet but drive regularly to 10k feet. Also, does the intake actually contribute to the power increase over the stock box? I'm not wild about the high flow k&n style air filter reduction in micron filtration on a boosted engine but if it's truly needed I'll get it and throw a pre-filter skin on it.

The only issue is it won't perform as well with less dense air that comes with higher elevations. It's perfectly capable of going from sea level and to whatever point you can reach or any elevation changes in between. The intake will not add any power gains at the Stage 1 level.

Awesome thanks Kyle! Being at altitude, I can only get 91 octane. Can I run your 93 tune on 91 at altitude?

Definitely not. The number in the map name is the minimum octane that should be run!

Kyle, how are those FMIC's coming along

Looking like a February release!
