Weird noise after RPMs drop after cold start.

I’ve just recently started to notice this noise after cold starts and occasionally after starting when the truck is warm. The noise is better defined after cold starts though. Any help would be great.

oh interesting i got that noise too, sound like something disengaging \ engaging, but never was able to figure out what it was

do you still notice it? I swear I just hit 11k miles and just now noticing it.

Could be. I was reading a thread with someone’s 1st gen that seems to be experiencing the same thing. There hunch was something to possibly do with a/c compressor.

Ok. Maybe it’s normal then. I’m not going sweat it for now.

My 23 does this too…haven’t had time to bother with taking it in and letting them figure it out.

Ok good to know. Has it done it since day one or was it something that developed over time? I swear i just recently started noticing this about two weeks ago.
