Wax on plastic trim

I just got Tire & Rubber Cleaner, it worked great, did not took much effort at all to remove wax spots.

^^ this. You probably already have some, and it works better than any other 10x as expensive "product".

I tried PB once a while back, but wax spots reappeared after few car washes. Maybe I used wrong kind, haha

the spots reappear with just about every "trim restorer".

I mean you can scrub using the adam's cleaner, then apply their trim dressing stuff. I've done that too, but after awhile my trim just gets beat to hell again. PB is cheap and the upside is, you can eat it. I dont think id enjoy the adam's product on 2 slices of bread with some jelly.

Excellent! Glad to hear the TRC removed the residue.

Exactly! "Trim restorers" just mask the residue, just like the oil in peanut butter. Then the residue reappears in a few washes after the trim dressing or oil gets removed and is no longer masking the residue. That is why an actual cleaner, Tire & Rubber Cleaner, is effective at removing the residue, not just masking it. The cleaner along with the procedure in my first post about using a small brush to get into recessed in the textured plastic.

For me pencil eraser does the trick.

Good old fashioned pink grade school pencil eraser works like magic.
