Not a new issue for a GEN2. My GEN1 has the same issue. Was running wire in the passenger side and the trough was half full of water. Towards the front was a rubber plug that I was able to pull to drain. Carpet padding was completely soaked. Put two full size bath towels under carpet and both were completely saturated soaking it up.

Brett, was the dealership able to solve the problem?

It seems they did, so far so good. The dealership ran tests and stated it was leaking in the rear window seal in the passenger bottom corner. But after the glass installer came he said it was coming from the seal of the rear power sliding window and traveling down to the lower passenger side and down the back of cab and under carpet, etc. So far so good as its been through a few rain storms and nothing yet.

I maybe late on this but I had the same problem on my 2016 f150, it was the sunroof drain which had become disconnected.

Thought my truck had been fixed. No water issues in several months. Heavy rain came through town and I have water sloshing around again. Pretty pissed off.

I hate having to check my carpet after every storm. There are a lot of storms in Houston.....

The same thing happened with me. I thought it was the seal on the windshield but turned out it was the drain hose disconnecting from the sunroof

Not sure why it is so hard to design a vehicle that keeps out the rain. No other vehicle I have ever owned has had this issue.
