Wastegate noise 2019. What is the fix?

Had the strange noise that seems like an exhaust shield rattling upon light throttle. Truck at dealership and they are saying possible "wastegate".

Is there a fix for this or is this something that you just deal with?

I don't think anyone has found a fix since it is the linkage on the wastegate. Just one of the many things that we just have to live with.

You are correct. Dealer says normal. They did though align the exhaust pipes and tips.

I have same rattle on passenger side exhaust. Sounds terrible in parking garage worse deceleration from 15 to 5 mph. Unacceptable on $70k 2019 SCREW. Per dealer Ford won’t pony up warranty parts. This is my second Raptor, May try Lemon law and get a Dodge.

Mine does it on cold starts. There’s a bunch of YouTube videos to confirm. Subarus had it but the actuators were adjustable. I haven’t looked yet but I assume somebody might’ve pointed that out in the last 3 years if it would work.

I have the same rattle which the dealer is claiming it is the wastegate. Apparently there is a TSB for this which adjusts the linkage but the dealer is checking if my VIN falls within the TSB. I hope it does because it is damn annoying.

So mine seem to be rattling as well, audible for the first 15-25 seconds of cold start. I just found this TSB, I havent found one before:

it says it only applies to the 2017 f150 though, and i cant find a comment on '18 or '19. Not for the feint of heart DIY guy though, setting the proper wastegate depth seems like a pita.

Have the same issue at the moment and dealer is also saying “waste gate” which I’m convinced it isn’t. Any update on what it was ?
