Hello all.
I have much envy of Raptor owners.
In the somewhat near future I would like to trade my 2009 Challenger R/T in (or sell outright) for a Ford Raptor.
I'm leaning toward the Tri-Coat Orange at this time.
It would be my daily driver, but using my wife's 2011 Charger SE for our weekend goings on. (Which is the way I am using my Challenger now).

I will be perusing the many threads to gather as much info as my meager brain can absorb.

When I purchase the Raptor it will be my second Ford, my first being a new 1974 Mustang II V6 (which was a disappointment to me). It had too little power.

Welcome and you've made a wise choice. My wife also drives a 2011 Charger and we love it. BTW, if you are looking for Orange, you better snag one up for from a dealer lot. Everything is pointing at Race red taking its place for 2012.

+1... Don't hang up too much on color, options etc... Pick your must have items and go for broke... Things have a way of passing you by in this market... BTW :cool:WELCOME!!!

Those Mustang II's were not Mustangs. They were Pinto's with an even heavier body. There was only one I would own and it would need a WHOLE LOT of improvments over stock that year. The Fast back with the 302. We fixed one up back in the early 80's for a rich mexican guy. It had about 500 hp, big ass sway bars, rims and wheels and all kinds or road race suspension work. It was a cool ride. BLACK of coarse. HAhaha. But really, those were not real well done cars. Fords Edsel of the 70's or one of them.
