Was told by a friend today that they are instructed to go no lower than 10K ADM by the sales mgr. All car salesmen are scum, most all dealers are too. I have yet to be convinced otherwise.

Berge ford Mesa az

Went in to get my oil changed on my gen 1 saw a stunning magnetic screw with beadlocks, went to talk to a sales men. Going in i knew they sale about 5-10k over msrp usually.
We start talking numbers and they put on the paper work 15,800 mark up. Told the salesmen he was smoking some good kush and asked where I could get some. Then they chased me down after I got up and walked out asking to renegotiate the deal. I politely declined as 16k mark up is simply retarded as shit.

**** dealerships, period.

Don Chalmers president Gary Housley

Makes you wait a year plus and in email goes over price with his raptor expert John Storz. Order banks open and "10-20k" over or higher based off market. Not only greedy but liars on top of that!

Rich Ford next
Had 45 allocations, long time customer and at first was msrp even though last deals were $300 over invoice just to say never mind 10k and if you want gt350r make offer over 20k over msrp!

My local dealer wanted $7k over for a truck that was due to arrive. I started my real search on Raptorfinder. I emailed them a one sentence statement that was as follows:
"I am a buyer @ MSRP"
I included my name & cell number. I got a call or email back from about 1/2 of the 14 I sent out. A couple had already sold. A couple that had asked $10k over dropped quickly to $2-3k off. One (Suntrup Ford in St Louis) called me & I purchased for MSRP. It was exactly as I would have ordered. I didn't even fuss about their $179 document fee. Love the truck. Deals are out there. My short but to the point email worked for me. YMMV

Just a quick question... how did you email the dealers from the VIN or windows sticker page? It appears that very few of them actually provide the detail needed to email. Thanks!

I clicked on the icon that took you to cars.com or the other one..(slips my mind now) but it had a direct link to email and would automatically include the truck you were looking at. I had a truck secured with $2k credit card payment within a few hours of beginning my search. Maybe I was lucky. I think there's a lot of them out there and finding a hungry aggressive sales person is 1/2 the battle. Raptorfinder is a terrific tool and it absolutely works. Be short and to the point. The less picky you are about options the greater the pool to pick from. I looked at the whole process as an adventure!

Lithia ford Idaho, 5k over sticker...I bought it anyway.

Lol. That's not terrible

Crown Ford of Redding Ca. Asking a whopping $20K over for each of their raptors. An avalanche and a white one, both 802a screws. Sales guy said I could probably get them down to 10k over lol. What a joke

Ricart Ford, Cols OH
They have 8, yes 8 Raptors. All between $7k-$10k over sticker and they won't budge.
