Once an Offroad King always haha!.... just because you're wife leaves you holding her handbag doesn't change who you are - I'm just having some fun with it. Pat, nobody's ever going to confuse you're beast with a street queen haha!! The idea that OP may go with the winner of this vote means he may need some slapping around lol.

Seriously though, whereas the BFG stockers are almost always found on pavement pounders because of their smooth ride, the Toyos rarely are. But many offroaders leave them on because they do the majority of their driving onroad and they do well enough in dry desert terrain. (No one offroads in baja-style terrain more than Trey, and he runs the stock BFG - enough said!).

And whereas the heavy sidewalled, aggressive tread Toyos are often found on offroaders, they might occasionally be found on street queens just for show.

It all comes down to how you are going to use the truck and what kind of trails you may encounter. And also the look you are going for. Toyos instantly make the truck look more beastly.

Stockers chunk out really bad if run aggressively on hard rocky trails -> eventually opening up the tread might make them a better mudder?... No cleanouts makes BFG's mud ballers - and makes for youtube videos of stuck Raptors lol.

I just prefer a tire that looks like it means business and then delivers no matter what kind of terrain is encountered!

Haha I'm not basing my purchase of tires on this I just thought it would be interesting. So many people have their reasons for liking one tire better than the other, so I thought it'd be cool to see how a poll went.

Plus I have a different style of driving and different needs than a lot of people on the forum so I just like to see what people think the pros and cons are of all tires. I will say if you were just looking at how cool a tire looks, I'd take the Toyo's.. but you can't base this big of a payment on that.

the stockers have yet to let me down.

That being said, after some rocky trails followed by sand, they definitely chunked out pretty bad and sliced up. Probably going to run out the year with them and then swap them out.

I have no issues with the stock BFGs, but I know I had a set of 37" Toyo MTs on my 09 F250 with 40K miles on them and they still looked brand new when I traded it in for my Raptor. I'm sure I'll go with Toyo MTs when the BFGs wear out.

All depends on what you want to do. I know the guys in the Houston Area Raptor Owners group with Toyo M/T's are hating their tires when we go out to the ORP here that is a very sandy park. They slip and slide all over the place whereas the guys with A/T's (General Grabbers, Stockers, and Duratracs) are loving it. Hooking up really nice and also able to get it to slide in a controllable manner. If you want to go mudding, get the Toyo's. If you want to run in the sand get an A/T of some sort.
