Stock wheels are 8.5 and +34.

Looking at a 9" wheel vs. a 8.5" wheel, it's 1/4" wider each side.

Then you look at the offset. Stock is +34, those are +0. 34 mm = 1.33".

Assuming the same tire- the outer edge of the tire should be 1.6" further out, and it looks like it. You are going to sling some crap up on the side of that thing!

Yep. Trying to find the perfect wheel with + offset that also looks good is damn near impossible. Unfortunately, most wheels have a 0 offset.

Yes, a good looking, properly sized, hubcentric positive offset wheel is nearly impossible to find.

People are FAR more interested in looks than performance. Ask anyone putting +0 offset wheels on their truck to explain scrub radius and how changing the wheel offset affects it- they'd look at you like you had two heads.

That's a good summary.

Ford set it up right, going wider does you no favors other than looks.

Most aftermarket suspensions require a 0 offset wheel once you start changing control arms around.
