Am interested in a clear wrap to help protect sides of truck from desert bushes/scratches. Don't know much about the thickness of wraps. Would a wrap protect sides of the truck from the small scratches from desert bushes?

This is how it has been described to me. Yes it will protect it, but it can still be damaged. It can also be repaired if it did get scratched up. It can be taken off and will protect the factory job. I'm considering it because I would like to change the look of the truck for a little while, but I still love the blue color so I could always go back. But, I'm not a pro on the subject...
