Alright so im new to the forum and just had some questions about the truck..I've always had a truck and my recent one was a 04 GMC sierra and Current is a 05 Harley Davidson 6.0 Diesel which im sick of cuz every six months the truck is in the shop for a motor reason or over heating cuz the 6.0 is junk so its almost made me not want a ford at all til i come across the Raptor. im a big offroad person always had fourwheelers and Side By Sides even had a Rock Crawler..but now im older and just need a good dependable powerful truck to pull my side by side and to normal life things but..my truck now is over kill and to big of a truck for my lifestyle now..so id like to know the pro's and con's of this raptor truck and prices..id like to have a 6.2 truck dont matter what color...but the gmc and chevy trucks are priced the same i think..so if you all could help me out id much appreciate it..thanks

Welcome, all in all I'm very happy with this truck and while I've only got 17k on the ticker, thus far the 6.2 has proven to be very reliable.

The biggest difference is by far the suspension.

These trucks can handle high speed offroading and jumping that would mangle other stock trucks

Other than that, the track width, off-road modes, and a host of other offroad knick-knacks I'm sure you've read about by now also separate it

haha nice..thanks..so the motor im sure its got torque but how fast does it rev and get to speed..cuz all ill ever pull is a trailor with a razr on it which is prob 2,000 lbs or a little over.. think the truck could easily handle it traveling a far distance?

Yeah it could handle that load no prob. Despite the soft offroad suspension the SCab is rated to tow 6,000 lbs and the SCrew is rated to tow 8,000 lbs.

That said, ive seen people tow 8,000 lbs with the SCab and do fine.

you might be able to order one for cheaper than take home from the lot but may take awhile for build process. here in colorado i was lookin around 58-62k depending on what dealer i went to. I bought mine through a member on here, gave me a real good price that beat everybody in colorado, as for the monthly i couldn't tell you on that one id say 600-900$ maybe. Welcome to the site by the way haha everyone here is real real cool if youve got questions anyone on here can answer :peace:
