The new Raptor was vibrating at all speeds but felt worse above 45 to 50 MPH. I work at the dealership I bought it from so I had all 4 tires balance checked and 3 out of 4 where out of balance! Huge improvement and seems like a common issue.

One of the many problems with KO2s is their difficulty to balance as well as their reluctance to stay balanced. I'm pretty sure mine are out of wack but it isn't bad enough to warrant the time/cash to fix them.

Had the exact same issue with my Raptor when brand new; it had two bad tires. Coincidentally, or not, they were both on the back where the imperfections would initially be less noticeable to most, but not to me.

I have been having the same issue. I just had all 4 tires rebalanced. They were all out of balance. I now have more of a hum. Hard to say if its the tires or a wheel bearing. I have no movement left to right or up and down with the truck jacked up. Can these tires get that loud at 27,000 miles?

I love this forum!!! I have the exact same question as you. My tires are religiously balanced and rotated every 5K miles. I have 34K miles on the truck and just recently began feeling and hearing what I refer to as some type of "friction". I similarly am not sure if it is the tires or wheel bearings. I sometimes feel some vibration in the wheel and gas pedal, but I mostly just hear a "friction" type of noise. If I hit an undulation in the road (not a bump) that puts extra pressure on the tires/suspension/bearings, the "friction" noise is slightly louder. Thoughts?

Definitely. Never had a set of BFGs that didn't start to tank in performance at 10k. The KMs will typically start howling around then. My K02s got louder by 11k for sure

We have the exact same problem. The noise changes with compression of the suspension. There is no change for me in 4 wheel drive or putting the truck in neutral while driving. I also rotate my tires every 5k.

Those of you wondering if you have a wheel bearing going out - try turning your wheel ever so slightly in either direction when driving. If the noise goes away, you most likely have a bad bearing.

KO" ON MY GEN ONE WERE TERABLE.KO2 ON GEN TWO HAVE BEEN GREAT 16000 MILES AND NO NOISE OR VIBRATION.ROTATED GEN ONE EVERY 5000 GEN TWO 7500 MILES.

I was always under the impression that the KO2s were an excellent all-around AT with long life and good wear. I'm getting ready to run a set on my truck - guess I'll just hope I don't have any problems.
