Good install Pat. Installing onboard air is a nice added capability to the truck. I got the same compressor. It runs quiet and seems good over all.
A few observations.
1 - I would be a bit worried about the flexibility of the tank in the steel strips. The flat bar doesn't offer any rigidity to up and down movement. I would add some steel strip front to back and mount it to the bed cross bars. This would help to hold the tank up and keep it from flexing to much when you hit jumps or parking lot speed bumps.
2 - you may want to reroute the air intake into the bed or up behind the rear tail light. This would keep it out of the mud and water.
3 - I like where you mounted the gauge. You will quickly find, as I did, that the gauge is nice to have, but you can't see it at night. I always kick my compressor on when it gets below 120psig.
4 - do you know if that tank is DOT rated? I'm not sure if it's required, but I know some of the viair tanks are and some are not.
5 - I purchased the viair hose and tire air gauge fitting. The 20' soft coiled hose will reach all 4 tires.
6 - find a cover for the air chuck to keep the dirt and water out.
7 - James at alternative offroad sells just the train horn portion.
Thanks for the information write up.
