Does anyone have any info posted about mounting the antenna on the roof? I have the permanent antenna kit from Outlaw.

I just got the same kit and I really don't wanna mount it to the roof. I am thinking of doing a tab on a bed rack or chase rack.

That's what I do too. Works great thus far and no drilling holes in my roof. And I can remove it for daily driving and not look like a trucker.

Chicks don't dig that here in San Diego.

I have a tab on my chase about bed rail high..the top peaks out over the truck, but I think the factory radio antenna is more obvious. Interested to see the range on my vhf with mounted location.

the magnetic mounts are nice because they are temporary, but it will scratch the paint quite a bit. justin and jeff, you just need to wait until i finish building mine. you will want it.
