Velocity Blue or Performance Blue

This is very much a personal decision, but I'll give you my experience in hope it helps you, OP.

I ordered PB last year before Ford released color samples. Then I saw pics on the internet. I cancelled the order and got VB; causing an additional 2 month delay in delivery.
I personally didn't like the look of PB in a few light levels; ie. a cloudy day and florescent lighting.

Check out PB in all light settings - its very much a chameleon; changing color depending on the light. Sometimes I like it, (oattar's truck looks awesome above) sometimes I don't - but I like VB regardless of the light. VB seems to stay the same no matter what the lighting is.

IMHO... PB is definitely love or hate. I originally ordered it... but when it showed up I refused delivery. It looks good in direct sunlight (note all the pics in this thread), but other than that is very “mute”. The Gray Raptor highlights don’t standout, but rather blend with PB. Definitely looks better with the machine finished wheels to brighten it up a bit.

Wife said it looked kinda feminine... which of course was the nail in the coffin when I was trying to like it.

OP here...thanks guys...when I was in Fargo the dealer had a row of Raptors. Ruby, VB, PB, Mag, Black, Race Red. They all looked great in their own way.

The day was overcast; of the two blues the VB stayed vibrant and did it for me. I realize that this is a personal like, as once again...each of the Raptors looked fantastic.

I’ve driven quite a few miles in my life and generally kept my vehicles 150k miles each. I discovered that I had to have a different look when staring out the windshield from the last vehicle.

I’m going with the VB.

Next question will be seats

VB is hands down the best color. PB is boring and almost all blue Raptors are PB. With the Recaro seats it's even better. Obviously it's a personal taste thing and you should go with what flips your trigger. A lot of guys like real ugly colors but the toad is a princess in their eyes. VB for the win!!!

IMHO, if you get a Blue truck, the Blue seats are too much Blue going on. It’s also not the same Blue... kinda looks like you tried to match it up, but failed.

PB all day...exclusive to Ford performance vehicles and 100% unique imo. Color amazes me every time I look at it and get more complements on the color than I do in my Hellcat's Indigo Blue.

Alright, seats...

IMHO, if you get a Blue truck, the Blue seats are too much Blue going on. It’s also not the same Blue... kinda looks like you tried to match it up, but failed.

Either haven't seen it in person, haven't spent any time around it or just a bad opinion. Ithought the same thing until I saw it in real life. It really sets off the interior and makes it stand out from the run of the mill interiors on other trucks.
