Valley of Fire itself allows no offroading, but Bitter Springs Trail is right there. We just did this trail for the first time on Sunday and it was a lot of fun.

MMC, One of the reasons that I went via Northshore was to see the entrance at Echo Bay to the bitter springs trail. Please PM me with all the detail if you do not want to post it here. I want to make this run also but heard the bootom half through the washes was super deep sand. Did you run the whole trail? North to south or vice versa? Thanks for any input you can provide.

We started at the north/west entrance off the 15 - where it breaks off from the Valley of Fire road. We ended up at Northshore Rd near Echo Bay. The washes were not that tough. A couple spots had some water in areas, but nothing the Raptor couldn't handle. It was a fun trip.

Tomorrow we are looking to go west into the red rock canyon, mt charleston, etc area.. Don't really know where to go - so going to wing it. Still need to figure out something else for Saturday before we head home Sunday.

Nice pics. The bitter springs trail is a decent run. I found it by accident, and it was my first real trail with the raptor. A bit narrow at parts, but the raptor handled it well.
