Hi guys,

Sorry, this might be a dumb question but I purchased some Gorilla Splined lug nuts to use with aftermarket wheels (0 offset), but only purchased a set of 4 wheels. The spare remains the OEM wheel. Just curious if I need to retain the original acorn lug nuts for use with the OEM spare (I seem to have lost the OEM lugs) or if the splined aftermarket ones will work fine

I’m curious about this as well. I’m putting VR-602’s on next week. They came with splined lug nuts. I was planning on keeping six of the OEM lug nuts for the spare if needed.

I would not use the splined aftermarket thin walled lugnuts on stock wheels. If you didn’t change the spare, carry a set of stock lugnuts with you. If you don’t have them, buy 6.

The bulge acorn is not big enough on the splined one and will not be safe. Just look at the difference
