Can an adjustable UCA correct a slightly bent knuckle for an alignment?

I just had my stock UCAs replaced under warranty at 55000 KMs (approx. 35 000 mi). They are a sub $200 each part, labour and alignment about $700 CAD to do both from the dealer. Personally, I don't think that aftermarket UCAs are worth the expense, but that's me.

So go big or go home is what you are saying. So to really take advantage of a UCA setup is spend $8k+ and just replace it all (UCA,Knuckle,LCA,Tierod,3.0's, etc) or just have planned to take smaller steps to get there eventually

If I may add, evaluate your needs. Unless you are really pushing your truck and bending knuckles, the stock components will work for 95% of owners(just a guess on percentage, but it must be high)

Already bent my passenger knuckle. Got a replacement with the Outlaw gusset as full upgrade knuckle is some dough. UCA was less but a start....

Thanks guys.

You guys have said exactly what I thought. Aftermarket single shear UCAs are not much of an upgrade with all factory components still installed. I will wait and get 3.0s first. The rear is solid now with Deavers and bumps so I'm looking to match the front to the back now

I like the aftermarket UCA's because it's serviceable. I already wore out both lower ball joints and when the stock UCA's came off you could see they were on their way out also. The aftermarket UCA doesn't offer anything more than serviceability to me and being that I bought used and for a hell of a deal, it was worth it. As long as you go into the purchase knowing what you're getting, there isn't a problem with them. Just don't buy them and expect massive handling improvements or anything.

One wore out prematurely and the other had some play...so they replaced both. The added bonus was that the dealer found both front shocks were leaking so they replaced those as well! I'm milking the OEM warranty for all that it is worth!

I think its going to make a difference if the uniball is covered or not. Icon and Cst make those but icon does not work on stock wheels. Would love to see an universal solution for a cap

My icons definitely worked on my stock wheels
