Upgrading Sync 3 v2.0 to v2.2

What exactly are the improvements?

better quality with bluetooth connections (IMHO)

So i tried the update, worked fine. I now have v2.2 and the Blue Ford GT theme. Looks great. v2.0 would not allow the blue theme for some reason.

Do the newer gen 2s with build dates after Dec 15, 2016 ship with v2.2? Or should we plan on doing this upgrade even if truck is built in march/april 2017?

I definitely want android auto, and it seems that needs v 2.2?

I'm on Sync 2.0 and I have Android auto and CarPlay - did an update scan and nothing came up so I'm not planning to install this as it doesn't seem like it's for our trucks. (My build date was oct 17)

If it is for our trucks I'm not sure why the auto update system wouldn't pick it up as it's a minor version release ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've been trying to connect my truck to my houses wifi but can't due to my wifi password containing $. Seriously there isn't a character to select. WT!!

I turned on the hotspot on my phone and connected truck wifi to my phone.
