So FMIC on the truck and it got a little warmer than I liked in my recent torture test and I want to make her a little more bullet proof cooling wise. I just bought the full race radiator and transmission cooler. I figure while I’m in there I should do everything I can, anyone have any other ideas for me? I was thinking silicon hoses and new clamps but having a hard time with my google Fu. Any ideas appreciate!

here, on frf
sprinkler system. and carry 50gallons of water in the bed so when it gets hot you can turn the hose on and spray it down

can you put a couple fans on it in front? might help cool it down. i would say a bigger trans pan but i think they hang down too low and might get beat up offroad

No can do, it’s got a FMIC and the fans are on the rear. Anyone seen/using a silicon hose kit?

Easy, FMIC means you have removed the stock shutters ?! If yes, get an colder Tstat, make your tuner re-programe the curve to start earlier and get a water wetter.

If needed a 29$pump can be found on Amazon and 9.99 will get you some 3/8 line with some "mist" nozzles.

Plump them to your windshield wiper fluid for starts, if it does work with you get a separate tank.

A retune with a richer AF ratio will net you a cooler engine.

If a radiator is needed, I'd suggest either a ron Davis rad or Be cool rad, both of them are custom made to order, AND they are thicker walled and stronger than mishemoto, also you can ask them for thicker/taller rad as it's custom made.

Not sure if it's a fact but on another post someone mentioned water wetter was garbage and suggested another product.

Not trying to be negative but just wanted to pass it along in case you'd want to do some research on it or that post.

Are you saying Mishimoto makes the Full Race Motorsports rad and trans cooler?

Because he said he bought the FR rad and trans cooler then you started saying, "and they are thicker walled and stronger than mishemoto" as in younare saying they are the ones who manufacture the FR ones.
