Sure hope the supercab does stick around. Love my 17. Not sure about the rear fender flare, marker light thing. Just looks weird, I like where they are now. We will see soon what that is.

Do we think the "3.5" in this MFG ID Tag implies anything at all? Not trying to add any fuel to the, "It is going to have a Vx engine" debate. Just noticed the tag and thought, Hmmmmmm.

I was thinking 3.5 is a given. I would like to see the offer the 5.0, and the 5.2 also. Would be nice choices for everyone.

3.5PB and or the 5.2 Predator. Ok that’s been in the running.

Are you talking about offering the Raptor with the 5.0 NA Coyote motor? That would be one pig of a heavier truck.

It obviously has an eco or power boost motor. Sound clips and leaked specs have confirmed.

will there be a limited edition blown V8 for six figures? Who knows

If Ford can squeeze 647 HP out of the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 in the GT...

One thought on this is what do the power/torque curves look like on the GT versus the raptor or other F-150 ecoboosts.

Did they have to sacrifice some lower end torque to achieve a higher horsepower number?

I think 550+ hp and 650 + torque will be enough. The Hp number is achievable on the EB platform. If they PB goes in the new Raptor, the torque number should be easily met too. I just want Ford to release the truck already

K223, I was thinking the 5.0 with more power, maybe 480hp and some decent torque. Than the 3.5 Power boost, 5.2. That 5.0 would cover the people who want a V-8, but do not want the 5.2.
