Yep. It’s called UAW ransome.
Not sure what a “ransome” is, but you have no clue what you’re talking about, as usual. UAW negotiates the labor contract, they have nothing to do with parts sourcing. Microchip production has been limited to certain regions; up until some recent investments, there were no major suppliers in the US.

2021 37 2 weeks old . Just happened to take a look underneath . Front section of exhaust and rear axle covered in RUST . Anyone seen this on new trucks ?
Here is a write up I did for two great products to correct your surface rust and to prevent any further surface rust. I completed this on my truck two years ago and today it still looks brand view. This stuff really works well https://www.fordraptorforum.com/thr...raptor-today-gen2.59415/page-317#post-1446547

The general aviation industry has long used ACF-50 (Anti Corrosion Formula - 50) with great success. It is used on many materials - specifically for us aluminum and steel structures and that is including the wiring and plastics. Like most of general aviation our airplanes are old-1980s vintage and inside the wings etc looks new!!! It appears to stop any corrosion/rust in its tracks. We apply a fresh coat at every annual inspection. (We also have planes stationed on the coast so there is plenty of salt air to contend with.) It feels like a light oil and weeps into all the seams. It eventually goes away and gets reapplied. The motorcycle, Porsche and Ferrari forums are all lit up about it keeping the underside looking new. Anybody have any experience with it?

Its superficial rust on untreated surfaces. Looks bad, means nothing. I live in the rust belt and from experience I can tell you it means nothing. If you don't like the looks of it, paint it or coat it with wool wax or fluid film. Our 2013 still has the original exhaust and it sees many short trips that normally destroy exhaust systems .

Snooping around autonation today and the looked at several 70k lariat and kings. All had rusty diffs, suspension parts and exhaust. Look like junkyard trucks. All trucks had crooked doors with bad gaps and misaligned door panels. Some had nice deep scratches and paint defects. Extremely poor quality. Hope mines built in the summer by some who gives a shit.
