Undelivered Ford Broncos Thaw in Giant Lot Today, Chip Shortage Blamed

I realize this is Broncos, but I'm assuming some of these chips are shared parts with Raptor.

It might be 2026 until we get out Raptors, if we ever get them.
They are going to be screwed, they will have to sell them all as new, 2021 models and it might be 2023, 2024 until they get chips for 2021 models. That's not even counting the Lightning or other models and cars.

And I repeat, if China moves on Taiwan, which is now increasingly likely, there will not be chips for 5 yeasr and they will cost 10x to make here in the US.

They will also have to make other parts here and by that time, a $80K Raptor will liklely cost $150K easily.

That said, it may be right, but the majority are still looking in the wrong direction, by design...

I'm at 589 days since I reserved my Bronco, then place an order for a 2021 and had to change to a 2022 about 4 months ago.. and I still don't have a build date or planned build date, which is frustrating.. and crazy.. the only thing to be positive about, pictures like these and knowing my Bronco isn't in this lot freezing and thawing. I think that's a good thing?

so as I type this.. I think I am crazy thinking that my situation is a good thing..

your not alone, stilling waiting on my First edition, ordered one hour into the first reservation period......yet I'm seeing all kind of Bronco's around now on the streets....dealer told me it was hard tops, chips and towing parts shortages....lord knows, if mine ever shows up and has a build date prior 2022 on the door, I'll probably refuse delivery.
