Lol, damn Biggest!

Brenthal had outfitted that black lt raptor with an ump airfilter when they built it (2?) years ago. I got to check it out and seriously considered following thier lead but really wanted the Donaldson power core filter which ump doesn't use (and I'm not even sure if it would work since the ump uses some kinda vortex finned filter). It would be interesting to see which one filtered better, the ump filter design or the Donaldson power core. I think what I really want is a power core filter in a ump housing.

John Bowers runs one in the truck HM built for him. Sweet setup. I think you could fit one in a more stock engine bay, would require removing the airbox and creating a bracket for the tank that normally ties to the airbox. You could fit one on the battery side too if you wanted to relocate that. Spent some time looking at a mod like that a while back.

I need something better than stock. I have resorted to bringing disposable filters with on trips and throwing them out afterwards and putting my K&N back in for daily driving. Just too much sand and dirt gets in the stock airbox.

and ill note that i was one of the people that had the Volant that wouldnt fit due to the braket, and got shit customer service. Took a loss sending it back.
