Looks great! Looks like the springs might have compressed all the way a couple times, had to tell in the video. If that does happen, I am guessing that is where the bump stop comes into play?

I was impressed with the way the back end settled down after the whoop / jump at the end of the video. I looks like the front soaked up a lot of energy and kept the front from bucking right back up.

Thanks,

To give you an idea of that section, we took our stage 4+ through it at half the speed and it sent the truck flying. It's really amazing the amount of control the front end is offering. Our biggest issue yesterday (besides the hole in the radiator) was the new front spring we played with. The dam thing settled about 2" or more so the ride height ended up way out of whack. Had the front end stayed up at our desired ride height, the back would have stayed down more and offered a much more controlled ride. All in all though, the fact a truck with stock travel in the front was able to go through that section at that speed still has me scratching my head. Video just doesn't do that section justice.

Sorry for the question, this truck vs the rpg stage 4+. This one has LTS a arms with dual on the front(wider per side) and what is on the rear?

Our dual shock setup will be the same width as the stock truck with about 5/8ths more travel than stock in the front. The purpose of our dual shock setup is to get the absolute most out of what Ford gave us. You will be able to keep your stock axles, brake lines, vac lines, even upper control arms and tie rods if you wanted to. Or for those who already have our stage 4+ setup they would only need to add the lower control arm, Fox 3.0 external bypass with our bypass mount and they are all done. Our goal is to keep this at a reasonable price point.

So far my expectations have been exceeded in every way. When we talked about doing this over a year ago, I though it would be better than a single 3.0" but only marginally better. Now that I have some time on it, all be it short, the drivability of the whole front setup both on and off-road is amazing. Sections that a normal Raptor would pogo through are now comfortable and relaxed. You don't get the sense the truck is getting beat up. But when you want to really get on it, you have an insane amount of damping control. Now we just need to get it where we are really happy with it.

Stay tuned

so if a guy had your 3.0 coil up front they would just to add on to that all it is is 3.0 bypass and new lower control arm and a new mount for the additional shock. I'm guess guys would be able to sent their current RPG coilovers in to be retuned to work with the dual setup.

looks awesome by the way can't wait to see what you guys come up with for the rear.

Can not wait for this to be perfected. Truck will be going in again as soon as you guys get it all tuned to perfection! Keep up the good work.

You got it. We will need to revalve the original 3.0 but that will all be part of the kit.

Thanks

That looks great!! Too bad the springs sacked out on ya... and radiator. Is that spring progresive or just looks that way moving so fast up and down??

Easiest way i can describe this is to look at the rear wheel of the truck going through a whoop section. If the truck looks like the rear wants to hang up in the bump zone for to long, truck will eventually come down, but the wheel will still be packed up in the zone which makes the next set of whoops that much more painful because the suspension is not free to get full extension on either end. It basically packed up in the bump zone and is making your life very stiff and unhappy.

Hope that makes sense.

That's pretty much what I suspected, but wanted to make sure. Thank you for the clear, concise explanation!

For Jarrett, and the rest of the RPG gang, it is great watching you guys work, experiment, and have fun all at the same time. I just might have to make a detour down your way during my drive to Vegas.

Have at you!
