Ugh.....Oil leak

I am happy to report that my truck is dry.. it has been sitting on the same spot for 6 days and no oil drops or stains!! I've also checked oil level and it is right in the middle marker of the oil dip stick!! I will still have my Ford tech give it a closer look!!

Its not going to show any leaks under the truck. The leak is from a single bolt on the passenger side. Its right next to a wire harness.

mine looked the same.....UNTIL, you get your hand up and ON the bottom and side of the pan. Mine had oil on it (bottom and side). Going in next week. NEVER leaked down on the driveway and looked good visually.

Last night after reading everyone's response, I put on some dirty clothes and rolled right under the truck and stuck my hands and paper towels in every opening and orifice near the oil pan and it is clean as a whistle! No oil.. nada!!! At 1,600 miles... I do not think it is a widespread issue or else there would have been many more complaints here and in Facebook!!

Keep an eye on it. Mine was exactly as yours till around 3K when I changed it for the first time. There's obviously an issue somewhere since the pans are on back order.

I don't think it's widespread but not necessarily isolated....luckily it can be driven safely while waiting for the part.....

I am happy to report again and now with proof and certainty that my truck (thank god) does not suffer from the infamous and newly discovered "slow oil leak from the passenger side oil pan bolt"... it is all dry and nice looking!!! Take a look at the pics.. Now at 1,900 miles!!
