Today i messed around with Forscan.. . I got stumped by "Engine temp & Transmission temp shows above gauges (8" Clusters only)". The spreadsheet has "IPC 720-07-01 xxxx xE5x xxxx ** use this if you have trailer brake controller and turbos **. Raptor 2020 has already E in place and I had to add only 5. Is it a mistake in the list or I'm doing it wrong?Posting the unmodified module pic
So as Raptor owners we need to change JUST xxxx xx5x xxxx CORRECT?

PLEASE take a look at lines 67 to 70 in the spreadsheet

The spreadsheet says to replace whatever values with E5 but there's an E already where E should go. I know the list has * if nothing needs to be added or changed. Was wondering if E5 is a typo and there should be other values.

Don’t ‘19+ MY trucks have a menu option for the temp display, OR, is it only the pictograph gauge? This is a pretty old mod, and if you already have E5 there, I’m suspicious.

I entered E5 but again E being already in stock module i entered 5 only , and I started showing temp on the main screen of the dash above the coolant temp gauge. On 1st reboot tho I had a message popping up saying , a warning " washer fluid level low" . I cycled through it and it never showed again. I'm sure 2020 Raptor doesnt have a washer fluid warning module installed...the car came without any fluid from factory and I found out I need some the hard way (driving on the hway with my windshield covered in mud)

Forscan is compatible with various vehicle variants from plain jane XL's to Raptors, Expeditions, you name it. IIRC Forscan codes are developed via trial and error so it'd be expected that some codes don't need to be changed for all vehicles.

Also, '20's do have a low windshield wiper fluid warning that comes on. Mine has come on twice and when it does, the truck will gulp an entire bottle of wiper fluid almost perfectly. I actually really appreciate that little feature.

interesting. It means my sensor for Washer fluid is busted. Since you have a 2020 can you please tell me if you've turned on "Navigation in Motion". While the main spreadsheet had it removed , for some reason or another, I found a spreadsheet that has it on . https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...d4-oWZg4aoYfGLCMTTO5Y/htmlview#gid=1226233122
This feature will actually help me a lot. I know it says " Tremor" but software Ford is using is identical

Haven't personally tried that one, I use android auto almost every time I'm in the truck. Worth an experiment though, just remember to save the as built data in case you need to revert.

I might give it a try. it lets you change POI while driving.

yes and no. You see the mod is called " Engine temp & Transmission temp" ..2017 and up has no Transmission gauge on dash. All you have is oil pressure gauge, coolant (engine) gauge, turbo gauge and gas gauge. last 2 come with numbers , measurements preset. Mod enabled temp numbers on coolant gauge.
