So I go to pick up my MBRP system and the box says 09-11 F150 4.6/5.4 ... Im like Whiskey tango foxtrot?

The guy wants to go back to the computer and Im like eff it... I will bring it back if it doesn't work... So since I was using the stock resi we just cut off the stock pipe in front of the resi by the hanger... it went together no problemo and I did the same thing Jdub did by cutting a hanger in half and welding them together so it pulled it up a little higher under the truck.

The moral of the story is don't order a turn down exhaust if you are going to run the resonator... just get a muffler and a turn down and a couple hangers and do it yourself. I didn't use the mid pipe or anything .. just the muffler, turn down and 2 hangers.

Sounds great! nice rumble and no drone. It sounds like stock at higher RPMs pretty much so this is a good set up if you don't want all out noise.

just did a 2000 mile vacation roadtrip with the mbrp turndown (no resonator). was worried the drone would be suffocating, but we cruised mostly interstate at 80 mph, and it really wasnt all that bad. might have helped i had a bed cover on and lots of camping gear in the bed.

Cruising speed is not bad at all. It's that slight acceleration around 2300 rpms (if I remember correctly) that is a little annoying. That doesn't happen to often though as if I need to pass someone, they usually know they're getting passed.
