I posted a day ago about the turbo smart bov. It works great ! Super easy to install and no light on dash so for. The plug that was sent was really easy to install . Plug and play.

Just did it. The plug does NOT plug/play with the OEM plug. I used a nail file (wifes) to file the grooves down on the OEM plug instead of sending the BOV back and waiting for another one.

had a buddy come over to help. We dropped the intercooler and all in all it took about 30-40 min (BS time included)

So, it was a batch issue. Some units went out and the plug supplier used an incorrect plug.

Turbosmart replaced my solenoid under warranty and the new plug snapped right in.

Now, my issue is power loss. Can barely here it blow off. In normal mode feels sluggish and in sport psi are higher but seems shift points and boost are not in sync.

Put the OEM back in and everything is on point. I'll say the whole unit is bad. Getting another BOV to verify.

Does anyone have an issue where you start the truck and it blows off a bunch of air for about 10 seconds and then is quiet again? I'm not sure if it's normal or not - someone said it was, but thought I would post here first. The valve works completely fine other than that cold start cycle of air is the best way I can describe it.

It’s a normal purge...same here and with most (if not all users) on that initial start up and engine cycle.
