Mine has been lousy from day one, it lugs until 4,000+ rpm and then takes off spinning and loses power after 5,000rpm. The suspension bounces so bad you can't keep it straight on rough roads especially washboard. I put 400lbs of weight in the back end to keep it from hopping around, that helped but didn't solve the problem. This truck is such a disappointment. It's my work truck and I use it as such, it doesn't get babied. We have rough roads where I live, lots of frost heaves. My gen 1 would drive straight as an arrow over almost any type of road, you could take your hands off the wheel and trust it'll keep going straight over washboard. My new Raptor went sideways on the same road and almost turfed it into the ditch. It doesn't stick to the ground, that's a discussion for another thread. As for the turbos, I made a video of the truck smoking, it was bad. The dealership said nothing was wrong when I took it in because there was no engine code coming up. They changed their minds when they seen the video but still can't figure out why it lugs and smokes so bad after changing the turbo. Ford (not the dealership) won't look into it any further unless it craters or has codes come up. It uses oil and coolant so Ford is monitoring how much it uses over 1,500 miles and yet does nothing to fix it. It's embarrassing driving a truck that smokes like this. Now the 2nd turbo is starting to go, maybe with two new turbos it'll be zippier and not smoke. My wife's Infiniti QX80 (400hp SUV) walks on this Raptor, that's pretty sad. Ford should be ashamed. There were three Gen 2's in my town, one broke leaf springs, the other had the same engine issues I have, they sent theirs to auction and I am going to do the same. I've been a Ford fan/customer for 14 years, I've had 12 Ford trucks and one Explorer, sad to say this Raptor will be my last Ford purchase. Ya it's that bad, not because of the service from the dealership but from Ford themselves.
