those that have tuned during warranty, any regrets?

I am dying to put a 93 performance tune on my 2013. Almost had myself talked into into until I got an advancetrac fault the other day for no reason. The fault disappeared once I restarted the truck, but still makes me wonder. It would suck to have a factory issue with the engine or tranny and have to pay for it because the truck has a tune.

I have put a tune on all my Fords within the First Month of buying the vehicle. Never regretted having a tune. Have one on my Raptor now as well as the CAI and Headers.
One nice thing about the raptor CAI's is that I can remove the tune prior to taking it in for service where as the Mustang CAI's required the tune so either had to leave it or remove the CAI to return to stock.

no regrets. Got mine within the first couple months I had my Raptor. Pretty sure I forgot to return it to stock at least once when it went in for service at the dealer. They never said anything.

I have a 14' and am going to do a 5 star and a CAI in the next couple of months. I figure if something happens I can always put it back to stock. I was talking to a buddy of mine who is a Master Technician at my local Ford dealer and he said not to worry about it. He said, "we make a lot of money on warranty work and are not looking for ways to turn it down." I figure "F" it!

They would have a hard time pinning an advancetrac issue to a tune. My last performance car got dyno tuned with 400mi on the clock. I just got my Raptor on Wednesday and I am waiting until I use up whatever crap-gas the dealer put in it so I can fill it with 93 before the tune!

Mine had less than 50 miles on it when I put my tuner and everything else on it. I've had no issues thus far and I don't really think, unless there is major engine or transmission problems, that they would turn you awa from warranty work.

I had a supercharger, tune, headers & exhaust 5 months after buying truck. This was done assuming anything that happened with the drive-train would be on my dime. Have 21,000 miles on it now, no problems at all.
