I'm running a Whipple Tune and really like it.
Haven't tried anybody else's Tunes so I can't compare.
But from all the posts on this forum you can't go wrong with the 3 popular Vendors doing Superchargers.
SVC, JDM and Livernois (in no particular order)

Livernois may have done a couple but no one has reported anything on the forum.
And if you're going to spend that kind of money, a custom dyno tune is the only way to go.

For the whipple tune, do they deliver through email as well? A local shop suggesting to dyno tune start on the whipple tune.

Yes, all the Whipple Tunes are now for the SCT Scanner/Programmer.

I don't know if Whipple will send an unlocked Tune, this is something you would have to talk to Jeff at Whipple about.
Or have your Tuner call them.

HELL Arizona 6.2L There is more to life
My truck, the ECM was sent to whipple and they put the tune on it, a 2010 SCAB, I was able to save the whipple tune on a old x3 tuner , i saved it as a stock tune and tempoarily loaded a 91 tune, then i was able to get the .bef file saved to send to a popular Tuner with the hopes they could work with it, was never happy with the trans shifting and my speedo is off 10 mph, because of 37 inch tires and 4.88 gears. I'm happy with the fueling part of whipples tune , but i think drivability could be better and the shifting could be better. I havnt heard back from the Tuning company (not a vendor here) ,if they were able to tweak the file and send it back , they said SCT company would have to open it and they are waiting on them. been a few months now with no word back and i have now lost faith . Is there any vendor i can call and get a custom intial Supercharger Tune from them with my mods ? One vendor on the site said they could'nt help at all. It seems like im screwed to get my truck speedo corrected and transmission firmed up. Can any of these 3 vendors help me out? SVC, JDM and Livernois? Listed in no particuliar order. Thanks

If you sent the PCM for the Tune, then you have the encrypted Tune.
This Tune cannot be modified. And all they would see is garbled info when trying to read the tables of the Tune.

You would either have to send your PCM back to Whipple or have a Ford dealer reflash the whole PCM.
Which I understand is not a really easy process if the Tech has never done it before.
Whipple would talk the tech through the process, they done this before.
Also I believe JDM worked something out with SCT to get that done as well, you can give JDM a call.

When was the last time you talked to Whipple because I know they have Tunes for 37" tires.
