It's all about control not money they want a factory tune that is safe. They will then be able to void your warranty if they can prove you used a non factory tune.

I will buy the FP tune just to maintain the warranty. I'm not touching anything on this truck that could void the warranty. There is too much new stuff.

Maybe it will be like the Boss 302 Track key. Then if you ever left someone drive your truck you could choose what key you left them use.

This awesome! I hope this is true, would be really nice to have factory shifting firmed up a tad and more power without effecting warranty.
