I know many FRF members are hardly fans of Ben Hardy but this is an interesting video where he drives both the Gen 3 and the TRX on the same course and records the time. It's pretty wild to me that it's taken this long for a video like this to come out but here we are. Not too shocked by the results but I understand there are a ton of variables at play here.

Fun Fact -- the route he chose is 45 minutes from my house. My kids and I would park in that same spot and ride motorcycles for hours. I've taken my own Raptor on pretty much the same trails he was on.

Video was interesting. He really needs to provide more content like this instead of his car reviews.

I thought for sure before the end of the video, the TRX would have been faster.

You can definately see the refinement in suspension platform that the Gen 3 has over a TRX.. 3 generations of offroad development I suppose.
There is a ton more rattles and noises coming from the TRX and I dont think he was hammering the throttle on that long staright in the Raptor .

Yes seen this video too. We get caught up with specs, it’s natural. Everyones wants vary based on their environment. For example , I saw a you tube video by the pickup truck suv channel, she had the trx for one week in a nearby neighborhood of mine ( more dense everyday city driving than mine currently ) she averaged 4.5 per gallon which would drive me nuts. Point is , 700hp can be great or it can be a negative for what you do with the truck.

Lehi exit, go west, past Eagle Mountain and then on to 5 Mile Pass, take the Old Pony Express Road and go for about 1 1/2 -2 miles. It's on the left.
