Hey anyone actually use truecar.com to buy a raptor? Been saving to buy one for some time now. Approx 46500 on truecar with lux and f/r cam.

Is this a scam or legit?

Also Im from Canada I want to buy one in the US due to very high cost in Canada. Do ya think I can still use true car from Canada?

And if I can get a similar deal with out true car bs let me know

I have bought with true car before and had inquired about Raptors. It directs you to dealers in your area that participate, nothing to scam. Juat make sure you chexk with the dealers they recommend. I have had some refuse to honor the price and others that didn't have any in stock but would look.

Truecar.com can often get better than my X PLAN pricing on othwr vehicles.

It's just a website that gives a "good" price so you know what you should get the vehicle for. A lot of dealers participate but idk how well they stick to the numbers that true car gives you

You're better off trying to order one at invoice. It'll be cheaper than true cars price.

Well my dealer just reneged on the truecar price via my credit union, Pentagon Federal. The dealer is Larry H Miller in Sandy, UT. They said there is no way they would even come close to honoring it. I am unclear how this is not false advertising for the dealer to make an offer price via their (penfed or truecar) website and then have no intention of honoring it. The price, although low, was still above invoice.

I'd let truecar know. From what I've seen the dealers are in agreement with truecar so that you can walk in with the price you received via true car. That's the point in truecar sending you to that dealer.

Well truecar called me and said they would get to the bottom of it, but I had my brother who is an attorney look over the truecar document and said it is in no way binding at all, so I doubt much will come of it.

I was told this also but, a few weeks ago a guy that works with my GF had a price from these guys, the dealer was going to honor the price and he called asked if I could check what price I could get it for. The X-plan price was 600.00 lower than the truecar price.

These are plans that Ford employees can get for friends and family. I should have explained better, the Raptor is not available on any plan. You must deal with the dealership directly They will not honor any A,Z,X,D plans. Sorry...
