Mine has been doing this for a few months now. I've taken it in 3 times now and they have not been able to duplicate it. I have not been able to make it do it. It's just random.

But it hasn't thrown any codes or the "wrench". So I'm not sure if they will do anything.

Seeing this now will have me bring mine back in and get this fixed. Thanks.

Did take mine in and that morning just before dropping off it decided to throw the wrench light.

I told the service department about the TSB and they told me it was released to their transmission technician in February but it wasn't released publicly yet. Either way this issue fit the bill of what i was experiencing and was fixed that morning and picked up that evening.

Been driving since and havent had any issues at all.

Just picked up my truck today and it drives and feels like new!! Many kudos to Crowley Ford in Plainville, CT for doing a terrific job specially to Chris Ledger who is my dedicated Raptor specialist !!!

The part that needed replacement was:

Part#: AL3Z7G276A - Connector

Also, Chris had to replace one of the lead cables that connects the speed sensor from the transmission back to the computer.

Although my truck has the ESP extended warranty, the repair was processed under the original warranty thus did not have to pay any deductible!

Attached is a pic of the part that was replaced. As a result I also got a new transmission fluid flush and replacement. Great Job!!!!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1365868238.409233.jpg

Took mine to Cam Clark in Airdrie. I have taken the truck to every other ford dealer in Calgary and have nothing but trouble. Seems to be a common issue here. If you take it to a satellite town dealer you will not regret it.

Wow so finally got the whole story and thank god for a great dealership honoring much more than needed on my warranty. here is the issues covered. "TSB 13-2-3 to replace valve body molded lead frame with this dtc stored to resolve concern. removed transmission fluid pan, during removal found pan gasket seal split in areas and missing pieces. Removed main control valve body assembly and disassembled to replace molded lead frame. reassembled transmission installing new pan gasket. filled transmission with new fluid, cleared trouble codes. test drove, vehicle is operating normally, repair complete." I spoke to the manager after finding out they went this far and he told me of his appreciation of Raptor owners as he is also one and will always support raptor play. I think I have a running mate for life.

Many years later, this just happened to me. 1st to 5th two times in last two weeks. Had to pull over and get truck turned off or back to neutral. 2011 Raptor...112k miles. Covered under this TSB and dropped off at OG dealer today.
